

The advantages of a photogrammetric system on-board a model helicopter will be briefly discussed and compared to standard aerial and terrestrial photogrammetry. First the historical development of UAV systems and the definition of UAV-helicopters will be given. This paper gives an overview about UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) systems and their application for photogrammetric recording and documentation of cultural heritage. In the last years UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)-systems became relevant for applications in precision farming and in infrastructure maintenance, like road maintenance and dam surveillance.

Sketch up is one of the modelling software that employed to construct 3D building. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) has to be launced to collect footage of UTHM campus Pagoh and continue 3D modeling by using SketchUp software. The main objective in this project is to construct an interactive 3D model of UTHM campus Pagoh that provide latest information about the developed building in UTHM Pagoh on Google Earth. The map's image shown in 2D mapping modelling should be substituted by 3D modelling to provide clearer visual view of the location. The location details in Google Map in Satellite view are not up to date. 3D building can be combined with the maps on Google Earth to provide geological knowledge.

The main argument is shifting from 2D to 3D is in the beginning stages and creating 3D building is not trivial but a complex process.
